3CX Talk & Meet

Introduction


The 3CX Talk & Meet links allow your customers, partners and colleagues to call or start an online meeting with you by simply clicking on a web link!  No need to dial a number or pay for a call. The links work from any browser without the need to download apps or extensions (using WebRTC).

Each user gets their own 3CX Talk & 3CX Meet links. Make yourself more accessible by adding your 3CX Talk & Meet links to your website, email signature and social media pages.

3CX Talk & Meet links


Find your 3CX Talk & 3CX Meet links in your web client:
  1. Click on the more icon  on the left side navigation panel and select “Settings”.
  2. Click on “3CX Talk”.
  3. Add your custom link name. By default, 3CX uses your full name.



  1. Use the checkbox to choose if you want to approve participants before joining a video meeting. This option is for 3CX Meet only.

Note: You can also use 3CX Talk links for a queue or ring group - your administrator must configure this.

Editing & Sharing your 3CX Talk & Meet links

Sharing your 3CX Talk & Meet links is as simple as copy and pasting them.

  1. From your web client, go to Settings > 3CX Talk.

  1. In the “Add your link name” field, you can edit your link name to be anything you want. Note that the link name you set is used for your 3CX Talk and 3CX Meet URLs.
  2. Click on the copy icon  ext to either link. The link is now copied to your clipboard.
  3. Open your email client, website CMS or social media page(s) and paste your 3CX Talk and/or 3CX Meet links.
  4. Your customers can now call or meet with you free of charge - no downloads or extensions.
