Ive forgotten my password to 3CX Pro & Tronic startUP

1. Forgotten password process
Previously, if you forgot your credentials (password) to log in to 3CX, you can request the welcome email to be sent again by Tronic support or system admin.  Or better, yet you can now reset the password yourself.

As long as you know your registered email address for your account, you can reset the password yourself by clicking "Forgot password?" on the 3CX login screen. See below.

First go to your startup or 3CX URL. For example https://tronic.3cx.com.au or https://troniccloud.3cx.com.au 

Then enter your registered email address and click RESET PASSWORD button. This will email you a one-use password reset link. Follow the process in 2 below.



2. Username and password are no longer created for you
Note. Prior to version 18.8 the username and password of a user was sent via the 3CX welcome email. To increase security, this is now no longer the case.
The Welcome email will only have a reset password link. See below example.

Note: Reset password link in email is a one-use link. So, in the future if you forget the password, you cannot reuse this password but will need to follow the new process in step 1 again.


Clicking the reset password link in the email will open a webpage for you to enter your own password.
Entering your password twice in this 3CX screen will save this as your password to access the 3CX web client.

Note: Password should be at least 10 characters long with no spaces and contain a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and a digit

Now you can log in with your email address and your new password created.
